As a former graphic-design magazine editor (which included not only writing about design for years but also judging design competitions and attending annual design conferences), I have always had a life-long interest in art, which I am grateful to now channel into illustrations of my own to accompany some of my texts! 

My artistic style is influenced by hand-drawn elements as well classic children’s illustration from the 1950s and 1960s. I have a penchant for vibrant colors and a warm, happy aesthetic. (I also have a real thing for birds, gardens and nature!)
